Melisa Caroli has been Head of the Internal Audit Office at BRAUS BERATUNG+REVISION since June 2026.

Melisa Caroli began her professional career at a Big Four audit firm, where she focused on the statutory audits of banks, capital management companies, and investment funds. She subsequently spent several years working for a banking association, where she was primarily responsible for Pillar II topics, advised member institutions on regulatory requirements, and contributed to the dialogue with supervisory authorities regarding planned regulatory initiatives.

Prior to joining BRAUS BERATUNG+REVISION, Melisa Caroli served as Head of Internal Audit at a credit institution, where she was responsible for managing the internal audit function. In this role, she oversaw the further development of the audit strategy and methodologies, risk-based audit planning, the management and quality assurance of audit engagements, and reporting to senior management and governing bodies.

Together with her team, Melisa Caroli supports clients in designing, developing, and enhancing their internal audit functions. The service portfolio includes both full and co-sourcing solutions, as well as the flexible provision of internal audit resources to address specialized technical requirements or temporary capacity constraints.

Melisa Caroli holds a Diploma in Business Law and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
